NYC FinTech Women to Honor the Inspiring FinTech Females of 2019 by Ringing The Investors Exchange (IEX) Opening Bell on December 10, 2019


NEW YORK, NY – December 10, 2019 – NYC FinTech Women, a fully volunteer organization that proudly serves and empowers its 4,000+ members and the greater FinTech Women community through mentorship, sponsorship, and networking opportunities, will celebrate the Inspiring FinTech Females of 2019 by ringing The Investors Exchange (“IEX”) opening bell on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.


NYC FinTech Women’s inaugural list of the Inspiring FinTech Females of 2019 was announced on November 18, 2019, and honors women transforming the FinTech ecosystem. The honored 50 women include 18 company founders as well as industry leaders with positions that span C-Suite level executives, technology developers, consultants, venture capital leaders, marketing and public relations experts, and specialized lawyers, in business and consumer-facing FinTech companies, venture capital funds, national banks and financial services firms, law firms, and marketing and public relations agencies.


This year, hundreds of women were nominated for inclusion by their peers and colleagues. The nominees were vetted by NYC FinTech Women’s esteemed judging panel that included, Jean Donnelly, Executive Director of FinTech Sandbox, Ruth MacQuiddy, Technology Research & Development at JP Morgan Chase, and Tejal Mody, Managing Director and Head of Business Development & Strategy at Rabobank. The judges selected women based on their impact on the greater FinTech industry as well as their embodiment of the NYC FinTech Women's mission: to strengthen the FinTech ecosystem by empowering and sponsoring women who are transformative.
